Free iPod touch upgrade

So I was surprised to learn that the iPod touch update is $20. I the worse idea ever mean is? I paid for my iPod touch, such as someone, why I would have to pay to actually.

The worse part of it is, what is the upgrade are in fact that any purchase a new iPod touch, because now the new applications, which get free of charge for. These new applications are: maps, mail, stocks, notes and weather.

The good news is that if you have, they call a Jailbroken iPod, you can get these applications for free! Yay!

How do you want to do this? First need to set the firmware 1.1.1. If you are in 1.2.1, you want to have to downgrade. To find out whether you have the firmware, go to "Settings" and click on "about", Wat firmware, then see that you have. Here are the simple steps to do this:

1. Download of the 1.1.1 firmware

(2) After downloading, you set your iTouch into recovery mode (see below)

3. Hold SHIFT and click Restore (go in iTunes)

4. Double-click the 1.1.1 file that you downloaded

For the recovery mode

3. If you see the Apple of the sleep/wake button release

4. Then your iPod touch see is issues it hooks up to your computer.

Once you in the right firmware are and have confirmed it. You want to go to jailbreakme.com, download and install Appsnap. Let work Appsnap and then go in and install the following apps: OpenSSH, BSD system, launcher.

You will then be able to install the applications iPod you want on your Jailbroken.
